Jade is a proud recipient of Kovner Fellowship at The Juilliard School.

Jade is an Australian Dual Soloist (Trumpet, Oboe), earning Australian Music Examination Board's Diploma, Licentiate in Music (LMusA) for Oboe at 12 and LMusA with Distinction for Trumpet at 13. Jade has been on scholarship at the Rising Stars at the Sydney Conservatorium and St. Andrew’s Cathedral School.

 

Jade has made an incredible progress in the music world. In addition to winning countless awards and scholarships, she was awarded Barbara Robinson Prize and the Players’ Award in Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra Secondary Schools Concerto Competition in 2022.

 

Internationally, she was awarded the Exceptional Young Talent Prize by Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition (2018) and presented her winning performance in Rome. Following year, she won the First Prize in the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition and performed in Carnegie Hall, New York.

 

Jade was the recipient of the Young Artist Award of the International Trumpet Guild (ITG) in 2020. and won the First Prize in the 2022 ITG Conference Youth Competition. She was also awarded 2022 Penny Turner Young Artist Award by the International Women’s Brass Conference. In 2023, she competed in the ITG Youth Competition (Senior Division) and came first and also competed in the Solo Competition and won the second place in Minneapolis, USA.

 

Her exceptional talent led to performing as soloist with Penrith Symphony Orchestra and Beecroft Community Orchestra. She has also played with the Australian Youth Orchestra around Australia for a number of years.

In 2024, she will be studying on full scholarship as a proud recipient of a Kovner Fellowship at The Juilliard School, New York.
